Forever MineThat day, the ground was soaked with dew
The sun was shining, the sky was blue.
I stood there, watching, waiting for a sign
Waiting for the boy who would forever be mine.

War had broken out all across my land
So I gathered up an army to help devise a plan.
The boy whom I loved, he wanted to fight
I said goodbye to him on a dark, stormy night.

I waited for my army, or what was left of it, at least
I ordered them home after a brutal defeat.
Finally, on the horizon, I spotted a man carrying a flag
I saw the few soldiers and thought, "This is bad."

Running to the general, I demanded, "Where is he?"
